Did you or someone you know experience such questions at POE for an advanced parole? Or are you just posing a hypothetical?
I have recently re-entered on AP and not a single question was asked. Not only that, I was not fingerprinted or photographed at the counter like a visa holder would be. I was taken to the back office where an agent entered information from my AP into the computer, stamped the AP and gave it back to me. No questions asked. Period. This was at the JFK airport in NY.
Parole is meant to grant entry to resume adjustment of status. Parole is not subject to employment, it is subject to a pending I-485.
If this is a hypothetical from you, then please shake these imaginations and live in peace and enjoy EAD and AP.
Too much thinking and too much analysis has caused this community to revert back to H1 lifestyle and they are not using EAD and AP - ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS why we were all so happy due to 485 filing.
What is the point of having an early 485 filed, if you are not going to use EAD and AP and be at mercy of consulates for restamping and be at mercy of employers who will need to sponsor you to hire you?

The only reason i feel this so called "family-bill" will not generate too much anti-immigrant sentiment is because it doesn't have the baggage of being termed the CIR bill.
The very mention of the word CIR stirs up strong responses and emotions from all parties involved.
This bill seems to tackle a smaller problem rather than going for a big bang solution that the CIR would attempt. That's why i felt it might have a better chance to succeed.

If I switch jobs by doing H1B visa transfer and my new employer picks up the green card process from the EAD stage, does my new employer have to be located in the same city as the one mentioned in my PERM labor application of my current employer. The reason I ask is because my PERM application says my current job location is in Town X, State Y and I wondering if I have to stick to Town X, State Y when I find a new job or if I'm free to work anywhere in the US.

In the state of Mass delivery is covered by the State provided you show you don't have insurance. Millions of single moms are delivering and many are teenagers and many are w/o any insurance. CORBA is the way to go . Find another Desi employer who can give you a similar job on EAd and take leave after a week . Get Insurance from your husband employer asap . Not only desi , every employer is taking advantage of the situation ....

Dear friend, Please dont make fun of him. he is asking a genuine questions, if you can answer then answer otherwise just keep quite. I can understand his pain, where so many new kids qualify for EB2 without any experience this gentleman is looking for MS degree to prove his 17 years of experience for EB2.

Guys if you compare the way people live and spend in India, I think they are more well off then we are. I know some friends here, all they do is, look for coupons. They�ll fight all day with Customer care reps for $1 extra that company charged, they don�t leave tips when they eat out and they eat out once in 6 months. Except for a Camry and a leather chair may be a better bed, what is this guy doing better than he would have done in India. Atleast there he had a �Kamwaali� who did the cleaning for his family. He had a tutor who taught his daughter. Here in US all he�s doing is cleaning bathrooms, kitchen their his children ad driving his Camry.

You all are right that we should not divide ourselves on EB2 and EB3 basis. But it is true that there is no hope for EB3 unless the point is raised for it in IV drive. EB3 is a hopeless case. People are so frustated since they are unable to decide about their future. Let's do something for it too.

Theoratically what you say is correct. Once the revised bulletin came out people are not supposed to file / send out mails in this matter. However, what the AILF is going to fight is the "revised bulletin". They are going to fight that uscis cannot publish a revised bulletin at such a short notice and if they (AILF) wins, this revised bulletin is nullified and July will become open to every one with LC, right??

As visa bulletin is taking time, it suggests that somebody is putting some efforts in determining new cutoff dates. And they need to use up leftover visas. Hope to get a movement all across.

Why are we discussing this subject when it will do nothing to take us closer to getting the GC? In almost each social event, I have heard this subject being talked by my fellow friends. But discussing it on IV forum does not serve much purpose.
To me, it seems in the conversations about this subject (not just this thread, even in social events), each person is trying to find a group of people that agree to his or her thoughts. That makes the group then feel better. But what do we all do the next day, pray that we get the GC fast. People who want to really go back to their country do not take much part in these discussions. They just pack up and go.
If we are spending any time on IV, it should be focussed on our effort to get the GC. Or to help someone of us facing an immigration related issue.

you are right. People in such situations are hesitant. But the important thing to know is you have all the rights as would a citizen or PR, to fight illegal actions.
