I wish they hadn't closed the blog, I wanted to post on there. I don't see any posts on the link you have provided for the H2B blog on WSJ. Am I looking in the right place?
No one commented at this H2B blog. This blog appeared without an article as compared to the other which had an article + a blog. BTW, WSJ has more articles on H2B then on EB GC issues.
Some blogs come and go like immigration bills on the Hill. Have writeups for all occasions.

Apparently someone flagged me.. thats fine.. if people here cannot have a proper discussion without having to flag each other I dont see any point in calling ourselves "smart" "highly skilled".. looks like we need to grow up first. I would be as cautious in NYC as I would be in Mumbai, since my adopted town now, and my hometown in India are both not NYC or Mumbai! If I venture out into DC, I would be more cautious than I would be if I went out to buy milk in the 'burbs of NOVA where I live!

If your PD is closer, I can understand your excitement. But a lot of people are just killing time in forums by working their ass off on predictions and call it comic relief. 1. If you are in IT field, you don't even have a grasp of software development lifecycle and the part QA plays in it. A good QA cycle is essential for a good quality product. It is your ignorance about software development cycle that makes you say good QA guys are not an asset for a good product and they are not smart as developers.

With your 485 application packet, you need to attach proof of your 140 application.
You can switch to EAD after you get EAD (which may or may not happen within 6 months of applying for 485 and EAD). 6 months after you apply for 485, you can switch employer with out negative consequences to your 485.
Disclaimer: Any thing and every thing related to USCIS is like gambling.

Basically they want to prevent offshoring legally... meaning
if microsoft wants job done.. hire locally.. or bring people on direct H1 so they net the taxes. or do the job overseas.
If Infosys brings people - do not let them work in CIsco, microsoft or, HP... that way they put overseas company OUT OF Business

They will know because when you fill out the N-400 application form, you are required to list your employment details for the last 5 years.
I don't quite understand these "citizenship" worries. Am I missing something? You are not required to keep W2s for more than 3 years. You can apply for your citizenship on 6-th year and list your employment after 1 year of having GC. So you appear on interview showing last 3 W2s and that's it. Why would it lead to denial of citizenship?

I think we should start a Employer Hall of shame and nominate employers who are either cheating the employees or the Immigration system.
This will help future employees and the immigration community as whole.
